Summary

The program research that examines the roles of race, ethnicity, nativity, legal status, and their interactions in social, economic, and political outcomes for immigrants, U.S.-born racial and ethnic minorities, and native-born whites. In order to develop knowledge of promoting a pluralist society and to strengthen the data, theory, and methodologies of social science research, the program promotes multidisciplinary viewpoints and methodologies.
