Summary
Grants to bolster leading mental health initiatives that harness both expansive scale and innovative technology to significantly enhance access to care, cultivate widespread awareness, and deliver crucial education across communities nationwide. Focus is on programs demonstrating a proven ability to reach underserved populations, leverage digital platforms for broader impact, and implement evidence-based strategies that reduce stigma and promote well-being, ultimately creating a more supportive and informed landscape for mental health.
Eligible applicants are 501(c)(3) nonprofits with at least a year of operational history, as well as community-based youth programs or school-affiliated organizations . A selection committee comprised of foundation staff and volunteers reviews applications based on alignment with mission, demonstrated local impact, and organizational capacity. The program is designed to strengthen direct mental health services, education, and access initiatives, especially for youth, women, LGBTQ+ individuals, and communities of color.
The grant funds may be used for service delivery, outreach campaigns, staff costs, and educational programming—excluding infrastructure or capital expenditures. The focus is to increase awareness, reduce stigma, enhance protective factors, and directly serve underserved groups through meaningful, on-the-ground work.
